The Purpose of the Commanding Officer's Council (COC) is to serve the interests and speak for the membership on changes to be made to the organization of UFPI and its elected managers otherwise known as the Admiralty Board. This representative body consists of all duly qualified, elected or appointed “Commanding Officers” or Chapter Presidents of UFPI, and is known hereafter as Council Delegates. The primary delegate of each chapter must be a CO. If a Chapter President is unable to temporarily serve on this council, its “First Officer” or Chapter Vice President represents its chapter membership to the council. All chapters must have a qualified representative at any council meeting. The Council Chair may accept proxies prior to any meeting, if the CO or XO is unable to attend. This body is required to meet minimally on a quarterly basis and must meet at the International Summit. | |
